Based on the scientific research on Stochastic Optimization at top tier universities, amongst of which is the Institute for Operations Research and Computational Finance (ior/cf) of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, the company productizes Stochastic Optimization in its DT@Energy Optimization Suite.
DT@Energy's models are in production at various power companies providing valuable decision support under uncertainty. Most recently, one of the most successful trading associations of municipal utilities in Europe, Trianel GmbH, decided to innovate the valuation and optimization of their physical assets based on Decision Trees' Stochastic Optimization models.
